I have a great client actively hiring a full-time, permanent Cytology Supervisor near Sea Island, Georgia. Here is more information:
You will be working for a comprehensive pathology services company that provides for hundreds of hospitals and physicians.
You will be working a DAY shift position (7am-4pm).
You will be part of a 4-person Cytology team.
Responsibilities- Examine slides to detect cellular abnormalities and potential signs of disease.
- Record data and ensure proper documentation for accurate and efficient record-keeping.
- Communicate information/issues to the supervisor/manager to ensure smooth laboratory operations and address concerns.
- Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assist and maintain QA/QC programs and monitors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Must perform within productivity expectations as outlined in current departmental guidelines to ensure timely analysis and reporting.
