Restaurant/Food Service
Dishwasher / Kitchen Assistant, Server/Wait Staff, Bar/Bartender, Food Runner
Jack's is a scratch kitchen and full bar and the flagship of Jack's Brand Restaurant Group. We serve food and drinks we are proud of, and we run our back of house like a team that expects to win. We are hiring a Dish / Barback to keep both the kitchen and the bar moving during service.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in a clean station and a fast pace. You are the person who makes sure the line never runs out of clean plates and the bartenders never run out of glassware, ice, or backup. It matters, and the whole team feels it when you do it well.
What you will do
Run the dish pit: wash, sanitize, and organize dishware, glassware, flatware, and kitchen smallwares
Keep clean plates, pans, and glassware stocked and flowing to the line and the bar throughout service
Support the bar as a barback: restock ice, glassware, liquor, beer, garnishes, and paper goods, and clear the bar top
Break down boxes, manage trash and recycling, and keep back of house walkways clear and safe
Assist with basic prep, stocking, and receiving deliveries as needed
Handle closing duties including deep cleaning of the dish area, floors, and equipment
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
What we are looking for
A strong work ethic and a sense of urgency during a busy rush
Reliability and punctuality. The team is counting on you to show up
The ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
Comfort working in a hot, wet, fast‑paced environment
A team‑first attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever you are needed
No experience required. We will train the right person. Prior dish, barback, or kitchen experience is a plus
What we offer
Competitive hourly pay
Flexible scheduling with weekday and weekend shifts available
Shift meals
