Sous Chef​/Line Cook

Community Brew and Tap is looking for an experienced, dependable Sous Chef/Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Were looking for someone who is confident working on the line, takes pride in quality and presentation, and can keep up in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Run and manage your station efficiently during service
• Prepare food according to recipes, specifications, and quality standards
• Properly plate and present dishes before they leave the kitchen
• Complete daily prep and ensure ingredients are ready for service
• Maintain consistent portion sizes and food quality
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team during busy services
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
• Keep your station clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Assist other kitchen team members when needed
• Help maintain a positive, professional, team-oriented kitchen environment

• Previous line cook experience required
• Must be comfortable working multiple tickets and maintaining quality during busy service
• Strong understanding of kitchen safety and food-handling practices
• Ability to follow recipes and plating standards consistently
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

We need someone who can step onto the line and confidently execute service. The ideal candidate understands the importance of preparation, timing, consistency, communication, and presentation.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience in the food & restaurant industry
• 18 years or older
• Available to work: weekends
