Job Description

Dishwashers play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a busy kitchen environment. Working primarily on a single kitchen shift within a large team, dishwashers ensure dishes, equipment, and work areas are cleaned and sanitized efficiently. This role involves both manual cleaning and the use of automated dishwashers, supporting smooth kitchen operations without overtime expectations.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment manually and using automated dishwashers
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and sanitize equipment following safety standards
• Remove trash and manage waste properly
• Support inventory activities and assist with food preparation as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines
• Stand for extended 8-hour shifts during work periods

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in hospitality or food service
• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina to endure long shifts
• Reliable and punctual
