Part-Time Warehouse Clerk

Job Summary

Georgia Poultry Equipment Company, a division of Hog Slat, Inc., the world's leading provider of equipment and turnkey facilities to the swine and poultry industries, is seeking a Part‑Time Warehouse Clerk with a hard work ethic and experience with the parts & equipment used in modern poultry facilities to join the team at our location in Royston, GA.

• Assist in shipping & receiving of merchandise in the warehouse.
• Stock store shelves to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Help maintain a clean and organized storefront and warehouse.
• Work with Georgia Poultry retail employees and company drivers to meet the needs of our customers quickly and efficiently.
• Assist customers when other retail store employees are busy.
• Arrive at the store on time and ready to work for all scheduled store hours.
• Take advantage of training opportunities offered by Georgia Poultry and by our vendors.
• Continually upgrade industry knowledge.
• Make deliveries to customers’ farms and other Georgia Poultry locations.

• Ability to repetitively lift and move 50 lbs.
• At least 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modern poultry facilities.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to use Outlook Email, Word, and Excel in daily communications.
• Ability to become proficient at using Georgia Poultry's inventory management software.
