Recruit, hire, and retain qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed;
Provide training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for counseling or termination as needed;
Manage opening and closing of the store, including personally opening at least two times per week and closing at least two times per week;
Monitor operating statements to identify sales, profitability, inventory, and shrink trends; manage ordering and stock levels to meet targets;
Maintain a clean, organized store and safe shopping environment; ensure proper cash handling and security procedures.
