Parts Counter Supervisor

Position Summary:

Meets parts requirement of customers through counter service and telephone sales.

• List the essential job duties that are specific to the position.
• Asist with training and developing assigned Parts Department personnel.
• Ensures approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and maintains the policies and practices which foster positive customer relations.
• Maintains communication with Parts Management sharing positive and negative feedback.
• Assists in keeping customer-facing areas clean and display shelves stocked.
• Ensure customer-facing employees are presentable and in compliance with PSTC uniform policies.
• Assist with resolving customer complaints.
• Oversee the workflow of the department including warehouse, will call, and delivery processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Non-supervisory employees with possibly lead and supervisor/foreman personnel

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills., Excellent interpersonal and customer service
• skills., Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

• The ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations,
• The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• The ability to squat, bend or stoop on a regular basis
