Market Attendant - Market

The Attendant supports the daily operations of the retail and café spaces, ensuring a seamless and welcoming guest experience. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory across all guest-facing and operational zones, including cold cases, retail shelves, wine displays, and behind-the-counter essentials. The attendant operates the coffee machine with consistency and professionalism, delivering quality beverages promptly while also preparing and serving takeout and on-premises orders with accuracy and care.

With strong attention to detail, the attendant manages multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, high-volume environment, ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and visually aligned with Sea Island standards throughout the day. Clear and warm communication supports both guest interactions and internal team coordination, contributing to a positive and collaborative atmosphere. The Retail Attendant plays an essential role in creating an inviting environment where every guest feels cared for, ensuring that each interaction reflects the quality, warmth, and hospitality of Sea Island.

You will learn how to consistently uphold and ensure compliance with departmental procedures, including standards for quality, timing, attendance, appearance. You follow and ensure all Sea Island safety protocols are consistently met. You maintain situational awareness of your surroundings, keeping an eye on all areas for tidiness and any general maintenance issues, ensuring that all are corrected or reported immediately. You are generous with your support and help resolve any service issues that arise in a timely and positive way, following up as needed.

You are proactive in aiding when needed and are willing to help with other areas or duties as requested. You are willing and can timely execute other duties as delegated by leadership.
