Position: Territory Manager (Los Angeles, CA)
Location: Lax

Position Summary

Territory Manager – Los Angeles (Southern California) – Varian Medical Systems, a Siemens Healthineers company.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.
  • Build and manage relationships with current customers, identify new customers, and develop relationships for the purpose of selling assigned Varian products.
  • Under minimal supervision, perform all sales functions in assigned territory including: analyzing territory for sales potential, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, maintaining appropriate level of territory coverage, planning and executing effective sales calls, scheduling and performing product demonstrations, managing the sales order/quotation process, and serving as a consultative resource to customers.
  • Achieve superior level of overall customer satisfaction and provide regular customer and market feedback to the company.
  • Represent Varian’s ethics, values, and business practices with all internal and external constituents.
  • Travel 40–50% of the time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with some post‑graduate work (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 years of related experience.
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as E‑mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product desired.
  • Product knowledge and ability to conduct demonstrations.
  • Industry knowledge and organizational acumen.
  • Strong time and territory management, responsiveness, and reliability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Presentation and selling skills.
  • Must complete LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility and other healthcare trainings.
Vendor Credentialing Requirements
  • Full access to Siemens Healthineers client sites is required.
  • Must meet vendor credentialing requirements including proof of valid identification (photo, driver’s license, SSN), criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations (HepB, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus), and annual TB testing.
  • Must continue to meet those requirements throughout employment.
