FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt
- Perform nutrient analysis and management: collect, analyze nutrient concentrations, calculate amendments, execute changes, and operate irrigation systems.
- Maintain filtration and decontamination equipment, ensuring safety, PPE use, and correct pH and EC targets.
- Inspect, clean, calibrate nutrient dosing equipment, and complete inventory of cultivation resources.
- Scouting and crop monitoring: identify insects, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and mechanical issues; input scouting data and complete daily inspections and checklists.
- Assist with cultivation tasks, including irrigation for propagation, cleaning hydroponic systems, and supporting production teams.
- Assist with food safety best practices and record keeping for the plant science team.
- Bachelor's degree in Plant Science or related field (Biology, Horticulture Science, Environmental Science) or equivalent horticulture experience.
- Experience with precision laboratory equipment and nutrient solution management.
- Knowledge of irrigation and hydroponic systems, safety procedures, and food safety practices.
