Position: SECURITY SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Location: Robins Air Force Base

Duties DUTY 1:
Serves as security program specialist executing and enforcing compliance with operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of an integrated information security program. Interprets Air Force (AF), Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal regulations for information security processes as they apply and are implemented within the organization. Implements established security policies, practices, procedures, and techniques in a variety of organizations or situations that differ in kind and level of security, complexity, and conditions or circumstances requiring adjustment or modification of established approaches.

DUTY 2:
Executes and enforces compliance with the organization personnel security program. Interprets AF, DoD, and national regulations and laws for Personnel Security processes as they apply and are implemented within the organization. Analyzes personnel security problems, mission vulnerabilities, security impacts to mission assurance, and convergence difficulties involving multiple security disciplines and other functional areas; and provides cost effective, efficient, and productive solutions to ensure mission success.

DUTY 3:
Serves as the organization's representative for Industrial Security issues. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of multiple customer missions in order to facilitate the protection of classified and SCI access as required by contract performance. Maintains detailed records on all supported industrial security activities. Researches, develops, and writes guidance and coordinates the implementation of industrial security program guidance for the organization. DUTY 4:
Administers the Physical Security Program for the organization. Uses comprehensive knowledge of the integrated organization's mission to advise commanders and or involved parties on security facilities/equipment/alarm installation, maintenance, and use. Reviews plans and makes recommendations on operations and maintenance on physical/resources security inputs. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays

* The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments Qualifications This is a GG-12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

To qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements describes in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles and practices in security administration and intelligence, such as would be gained through extensive graduate study or experience, and skill in applying this knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments or a comprehensive, intensive, practical knowledge of Information and Personnel Security.
