Security Specialist; Training Security Clearance

Position: SECURITY SPECIALIST (TRAINING) with Security Clearance
Location: Moody A F B

Duties
* Serves as the focal point for the security forces training program, coordinating and implementing all training activities for the unit. Manages formal school requests, collective and sustainment training, ancillary, and recurring training. Schedules and conducts unit orientation and training. Develops local guidance and directives.
* Conducts training classes for security forces personnel. Prepares lesson plans and teaches formal/informal training courses in accordance with AFI 36-2225.
* Develops and monitors the accomplishment of security forces training plans and obtains/develops training aids and materials. Develops instructional curricula to meet specific training requirements and implements testing procedures.
* Attends, arranges, and conducts meetings, briefings, and workshops. Provides assistance, information, and status briefs to supervisors and branch chiefs to resolve work issues. Requirements Conditions of employment

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade/level position or equivalent in the federal service, which includes practical knowledge of commonly applied security concepts, principles, practices, and requirements to effectively coordinate and provide effective training for the unit. Practical knowledge of various security specialties such as physical, personnel, industrial, operational, and informational security to resolve well-defined questions and develop lesson plans.

Knowledge of security forces programs and objectives, and military/civilian security forces training program processes to develop comprehensive training programs and identify training requirements. Skill in developing course materials and instructional methods, principles, and techniques. OR

Education:

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
