Job Description:

Primary Accountabilities:

* Electromechanical troubleshooting

* Performing preventive maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments to machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.

* Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system malfunctions using diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and schematics.

* Repairing and replacing faulty components, dismantling machinery when necessary, and reassembling equipment to working order.

* Installing new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and integration with existing systems.

* Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports on equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts in the CMMS system.

* Fabricating or modifying parts as needed using welding, cutting, or other fabrication skills.

* Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

* Assisting in training production personnel on proper operation and basic preventive maintenance of equipment.

* Source parts include OEM parts for equipment.

* Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This includes cleaning ducts, checking for leaks, and refilling refrigerants.

* Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults

* Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed, including costs and types of services provided.

Experience and Skills:

* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

* Experience with industrial control systems and familiarity with OSHA safety standards.

* Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

* Previous work experience in industrial maintenance or a related field; a technical degree or similar may be preferred.

* Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC equipment are crucial.

* Proven experience as an HVAC technician is essential, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.

* Class 1 HVAC license preferred
