Description
Fiber knowledge and experience installing wireway, bus ducts, cable tray, switches, receptacles, and other devices.
Build closets by mounting and installing backboards, cross‑connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optics and related hardware.
Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.
Complete all IDC connections (e.g., terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels).
Work inside and outside building to build data centers. Shift Monday‑Friday 6:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Pull wire, oversee and direct conduit installations and wire pulling.
- Operate tools/equipment requiring two hands (cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.).
- Network equipment experience.
- Cat6 termination.
- Fiber optic installation knowledge.
- Proficient with listed tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents.
- Knowledge of universal communications color codes.
Entry level.
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Social Circle, GA.
