Job SummaryWe are hiring a Level 3/ 4 Lead DC Power Technician for the Critical Infrastructure Team. The new hire will plan and coordinate installation workloads, assign jobs, direct, instruct and assist equipment installers with installation of equipment. Work will be performed without supervision and instruction. Must have longstanding experience with installation and cabling of AC and DC power equipment including BCDBB’s, BDFB’s, and UPS Systems.
Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate installation workloads.
- Assign tasks and provide direction to installers.
- Direct, instruct and assist installers with equipment installation.
- Work independently without supervision.
- Perform Level 4 operations, including:
- • Circuit modifications
- • Software adds or upgrades
- • Power transition work
- • Addition or removal of batteries
- • Addition or removal of circuits on working power distribution sources
- • Equipment testing and turn‑up
- • Oversee volatile work activities
- • Job‑site supervision of subcontractor work
- • Additions, modifications or removals to Power Boards
- • Document work and create Visio as‑built drawings
- Travel up to 100% of the time.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience or equivalent as determined by the installation supervisor, CI manager and Maicom management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in installation, testing, and turn‑up of DC power systems, inverter, batteries, iron work, equipment cabinets, BDCBBs, BDFBs and related hardware.
- Hold current training certificates from each manufacturer of equipment being installed.
- Maintain yearly updates of manufacturer’s training or as required by the manufacturer.
- Hold a certification of completion from a training facility providing an appropriate curriculum.
- Capable of performing the same work operations as a Level 3 installer without supervision.
- Capable of acting as the Installation supervisor (in‑charge person).
This is a full‑time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TravelMust possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.

CompensationThe pay range for this position in California is $28–47.00/hr base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience (in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered). This information is provided per the California Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on the market location.
