Pipelaying Heavy Equipment Operator

Mack Jones Enterprises Inc. is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for underground utilities excavation work. All applicants must pass a pre‑employment drug screen, E‑Verify, a DMV driver's background check, hold a valid driver's license, and have reliable transportation. Immediate openings are available for four operators.

• 5 years of experience in utility installation of water mains
• Experience with excavator, dozer, and/or rubber tire and skid steer loaders
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• A proven safety record
• Experience performing pre‑trip inspections and day‑to‑day maintenance on heavy equipment
• Class A CDL is helpful but not required
• Follow all company safety policies, including taking specific action to avoid other workers, other equipment, potential obstructions, and marked or unmarked utility lines

• Operate equipment including excavator, dozer, trackhoe, loader (rubber tire and skid), truck dump, and other heavy equipment
• Perform routine daily maintenance on all trucks and heavy equipment, including fueling, servicing, and minor mechanical repairs
• Prepare daily reports of equipment hours, inventory, and fuel used
• Communicate with mechanics for truck and equipment repair
• Coordinate with crew members in response to hand and/or audio signals
