Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for a variety of commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. Inspect tires, wheels, and valve stems for damage, defects, or excessive wear. Safely operate tire-changing and balancing equipment, air tools, and lifts. Perform flat repairs and ensure all work meets company and industry safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop workspace.
Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing tires, supplies, and parts. Provide excellent service and support to drivers, technicians, and customers as needed. Participate in ongoing training and skill development to stay current with tools, equipment, and best practices.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in tire mounting or shop maintenance preferred but not required (training provided).
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
