Mobile Service Technician

Responsible for performing maintenance on trucks from class 5 through class 8 vehicles and recreational vehicles per OEM and company guidelines at various locations away from the main shops.
Fire Truck Technician is responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire trucks and emergency vehicles to meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the proper techniques, materials, and safety procedures, as well as excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire trucks and emergency vehicles
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of firefighting equipment and systems
- Collaborate with team members and provide technical support and guidance as necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a fire truck technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Certification or training in fire apparatus maintenance and repair is a plus.
- CDL - preferred
- Prior experience with commercial truck repair
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a diesel tech
- Experience with fire truck repair is a giant plus

- 2 years: 2yrs previous experience as a Mobile Technician and/or Emergency Vehicles
