Caltrans is seeking a Tree Maintenance Worker to perform tree care on state highways and facilities, including climbing and rigging. The role spans eight counties and may require up to 80% travel from the HQ station.
Duties include pruning, removing limbs, and sometimes felling trees, with operations of aerial and other heavy equipment. Candidates must have a Class C driver's license, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a wide range of weather on a 4/10 schedule year round.
