IMMEC, a precision manufacturing leader in Hampton, VA, seeks an Industrial Millwright Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair production machinery supporting aerospace, defense, and industrial clients. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; perform precision alignments; support CNC and fabrication equipment; and execute preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and accuracy. Working in a safety focused, collaborative culture, you'll solve complex equipment issues, support continuous improvement, and help ensure high reliability, tight tolerance production.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial production and CNC machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
- Perform precision alignment, leveling, and setup of equipment
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance routines and documentation
- Assist with equipment moves, rigging, and new machine installations
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Collaborate with engineering and production to improve reliability and throughput
- Adhere to all safety, LOTO, and quality procedures in a high reliability environment
- Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis for recurring issues
