Maintenance Senior Technician Summary

The Maintenance Senior Technician is responsible for performing maintenance tasks on production equipment and facility utilities to ensure stable and efficient operations. Leveraging practical experience and technical expertise, this role contributes to maintaining and improving workplace safety, working environments, and product quality, while supporting productivity improvements. The position also includes operation and control of the wastewater treatment system. The role requires prompt response to equipment failures, execution of preventive and scheduled maintenance, accurate record keeping, and timely reporting under supervision.

• Plan, execute, monitor, and document preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance activities under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager or Assistant Manager
• Ensure quality, safety, environmental compliance, and efficiency in maintenance operations
• Design, fabricate, assemble, operate, and test systems and equipment; assist with installation and validation of new equipment
• Respond to equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions under supervision
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, construction work, and facility/equipment maintenance
• Create and maintain spare parts lists; conduct annual spare parts inventory checks
• Collect and report maintenance data to supervisors for continuous improvement
• Train and support maintenance technicians and staff
• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment in compliance with local regulations
• Support maintenance of security systems (e.g., cameras, access control) with vendors
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety, environmental, and operational regulations
• Monitor and maintain facility landscape and exterior appearance
• Promote safety, health, and environmental compliance
• Maintain ISO-related documentation (procedures, records, audits, corrective actions) and update SOPs as needed
• Identify process improvement opportunities aligned with ISO 9001 standards
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality within the maintenance team

• 8 am to 5 pm
• Full-time position
• Standard business hours; flexibility required to respond to emergency maintenance as needed

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• OSHA safety certification (required)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance (mechanical and/or electrical)

• EPA certification
• HAZCOM certification
• NFPA 70E certification
• ETA / ISCET certification

• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and multimeters
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical plans
• Ability to read and create circuit diagrams
• Knowledge and experience with PLC controls
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
