Maintains, adjusts, performs preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and overhauls electrical features of large hydroelectric generators;
Uses test instruments such as ammeters, voltmeters, meggers, oil testers and analyzers;
Performs electrical switching to effect or remove a clearance;
Inspects and tests electrical equipment for continued service;
Installs new equipment and associated wiring and controls for modernization
