What You'll Do

  • Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through clinical reviews and interviews
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other staff
  • Provide mental health counseling and crisis interventions to inmates
  • Make rounds in confined housing areas to evaluate inmate adjustment and mental health needs
  • Gather information through consultation to address behavioral escalation and mental health changes
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards

What You Need

  • Required:
    • Board eligibility or licensure in psychology
    • Valid BLS certification
  • Preferred:
    • Prior experience working in mental health settings, ideally with inmate populations
    • Strong assessment and counseling skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
