The Shelter Resident Transition (SRT) Service Associate (SA) supports disaster relief by working with shelter residents to identify resources and obstacles, and to craft individualized action plans that help them move toward sustainable living options. This is an operational role, typically assigned during DROs at level 4 and above.
By shortening displacement time and jump starting longer-term recovery, the SRT SA helps fulfill the Red Cross mission during times of crisis.
