The Shelter Resident Transition (SRT) Service Associate is an operational position assigned temporarily, typically on level 4 and above disaster relief operations. SRT Caseworkers work with shelter residents to understand their resources and transition roadblocks, helping households create an action plan to move from the shelter to a more sustainable living solution and begin longer-term recovery.
This role supports the American Red Cross mission by shortening displacement time and jump starting
