Position Overview
:
As a Workday Integration Developer, you will create and maintain integrations within the Workday cloud-based software platform, working with third‑party vendors and other state agencies. You will research, design, deliver, and maintain integration solutions to support emerging Workday technologies, respond to customer requests, and adapt to ongoing operational changes.

• Design, build, and implement robust integration solutions.
• Conduct analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, training, and support for complex business and enterprise software solutions.
• Develop Workday solutions focusing on Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance, and Procurement.
• Configure and customize Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations to meet specific organizational needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their integration needs.
• Stay updated with Workday releases and new features to enhance integration capabilities.
• Adhere to data governance policies and best practices to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
• Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure the reliability of report outputs.
• Document integration requirements, specifications, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for Workday solutions.
• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday Integration solutions using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, web services, and core connectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 5+ years of experience in Workday integration development, with strong expertise in HCM and Financial Module integration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in developing Workday integrations using technologies such as EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio.
• Proficiency with integration technologies including Web Services and APIs: WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, JSON, and Java.
• Knowledge of integration security (ISU, PGP Key, MFA).
• Demonstrated ability in data migration, integration development, report building, and calculated fields as they relate to integrations.
• Experience developing integrations for both Workday HCM and Financials.
