DESCRIPTION
Brewton-Parker Christian University has an immediate opening for an Associate Men's and Women’s Soccer Coach. The associate coach will be responsible for assisting the Director of Soccer Programs and Head and Men’s and Women’s soccer coach in all aspects of both programs, which includes: scheduling, recruiting, coaching games and practices, logistics of travel, compliance, and developing the entire student-athlete – spiritually, academically, and athletically.
Brewton-Parker competes in the ultra-competitive Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).
Applicants must first and foremost be committed to discipleship of their student-athletes. The successful applicant will also agree to a “Lifestyle Standard Agreement”. The program will be conducted in accordance with all Brewton-Parker Christian University, SSAC, and NAIA regulations and policies, and must promote the mission and vision of Brewton-Parker College as well as the goals and objectives of the athletic department.

Qualified candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree, and two years of coaching experience. The successful candidate will have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the ability to successfully disciple student athletes. The candidate should also possess strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a budget, excellent written and oral skills, knowledge of computer applications, fundraising, event planning, camps and financial management, the ability to work weekends, evenings, including travel, and can demonstrate commitment to or experience working with diverse populations.
Candidates must be able to recruit mission appropriate student athletes at a high level within the scholarship structure as determined by the Vice-President of Enrollment Services and Athletics. Must be able to lift and move equipment, maintain a valid driver’s license, and transport the team as needed.
