This is a full-time, on-site position for an Export Specialist (air and ocean) located in Peachtree City, GA. This is an in-office position. The Export Specialist will be responsible for managing and preparing export documentation, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, and coordinating with clients and truckers to facilitate the seamless movement of goods. Daily tasks include robust communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, managing export operations, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Additionally, the role involves monitoring shipments and addressing any logistical issues to meet client deadlines effectively.
- Experience in Export Documentation and general Export processes (air and ocean)
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Proficiency in Export operations (import a +)
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with trade and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, on-site work environment
- Relevant experience in international freight forwarding or logistics is beneficial (min 3 years)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields is preferred
