Job Summary:This position provides basic service to the aircraft such as marshaling, towing, fueling, replenishing ice, water, and papers. The Line Technician must have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills interacting with customers, receiving instructions, confirming details, assisting with baggage, etc. We are seeking candidates with friendly and outgoing personalities who have experience working outdoors with heavy equipment, experience providing quality customer service, the ability to work flexible hours as needed, and a desire to work in an aviation setting.
This position is responsible for operating a safe, efficient airport.
- Marshaling aircraft through arrivals and departures, moving aircraft.
- Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.
- Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles, and equipment.
- Transporting clients.
- Greeting pilots, passengers, and crew members.
- Assist with customer service duties as needed.
- Ensure hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly.
- Ensuring a safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Yard work, including mowing of the facility grounds.
- Must have the ability to work with a variety of equipment and vehicles, including a riding
- Must have a valid driver's license and approved driving record.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 100 pounds rarely.
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience with NATA's Professional Line Service Training is preferred.
