Location: Portal
- 5+ years’ experience driving a school bus and working with children at an ATS school is added advantage.
- No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years
- Clean driving record (no traffic citations in last 5 years)
- Ability to carry out assigned route on time
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to drive all other school vehicles when required
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge would be an advantage
- 5 O’ Levels including English Language
- Valid Class 1 Drivers License & Re-test
- Valid Defensive Drivers Certificate
- Valid Medical Certificate
- Police Clearance

- Safely transport children and staff to and from school and to various destinations for activities
- Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus/vehicle at all times
- Obey all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform inspections of the bus/vehicle before and after each route
- Assist students with loading and unloading onto the school bus/vehicle
- Assist students with getting on and off the bus/vehicle when required
- Resolve emergency and non-emergency situations that occur during travel and trips
- Build rapport with both students, staff and parents. To be personable and presentable to College stakeholders.
- Attend weekly and monthly safety meetings
