A Branch Customer Service Representative at AAA The Auto Club Group supports membership, travel, insurance, and financial services for over 14 million members. The role includes greeting customers, selling products, providing cash and administrative support, and promoting ACG offerings.
Responsibilities- Provide sales and support services to members, including greeting, servicing, selling membership, travel products, and select banking products.
- Generate leads and update members on travel and insurance specials.
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer to senior staff or agent when appropriate.
- Provide cashiering services, process payments for insurance policies, travel tickets, and travel money products, manage remittance and balance cash drawer.
- Receive and resolve member/customer complaints, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
- Provide administrative support to travel and insurance sales staff during peak periods.
- Conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
- Experience providing customer-focused service and timely solutions to problems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to take personal responsibility in seeking solutions to problems.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet office customer service goals.
- Passion and enthusiasm for working with people.
- Basic mathematical calculations for monetary transactions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Exceed member expectations regarding professionalism, efficiency, and customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including holidays and weekends.
