Our client is a U.S.

-based healthcare benefits administrator offering a comprehensive suite of self-funded medical, dental, FSA, and HRA plans. Their technology-driven platform enables seamless healthcare claims management for employers, brokers, providers, and members alike. With a focus on high-integrity data processing and operational excellence, they serve a diverse customer base and are committed to simplifying healthcare benefit experiences.

The project is a mission-critical initiative to centralize and standardize healthcare-related data from multiple repositories. It focuses on improving data consistency, quality, security, and speed of access for downstream consumption—primarily by external providers and internal reporting teams. The platform leverages modern Microsoft Azure cloud services and integrates with tools like Power BI and Azure Data Factory. You will join a cross-functional delivery team responsible for business analysis, documentation, backlog grooming, and ensuring shared understanding across stakeholders.

Your work will directly impact how claims data is processed, visualized, and delivered across the organization.

• Elicit, analyze, and document project requirements in the form of user stories with clear descriptions and acceptance criteria;
• Maintain and groom the product backlog in Azure Dev Ops (AzDo);
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to ensure shared understanding of feature scope and business needs;
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives;
• Prepare supporting documentation including process flows, use cases, and system requirements specifications (SRS);
• Analyze and reverse-engineer SQL queries to extract business rules and system logic;
• Ensure alignment of deliverables with Data Warehouse (DW) modeling principles, particularly star-schema structures;
• Drive discussions on story prioritization, dependencies, and deliverables with stakeholders;
• Mentor junior team members in business analysis and backlog management practices;
• Participate in operational readiness documentation and user acceptance testing support.

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software projects;
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies;
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience analyzing complex queries;
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops and Agile artifact management;
• Understanding of DW modeling (star schema);
• Hands-on experience in documenting functional/non-functional requirements;
• Experience with claims processing or accounting systems is highly desirable;
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and excellent interpersonal skills;
• English level:
  Advanced (C1 or higher) – written and spoken.
