Dozer Operator

A Dozer Operator’s primary responsibility is to complete assigned tasks safely and accurately using construction equipment. The Dozer Operator reports to the Foreman and/or Superintendent. Typical duties include:

• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Work in inclement weather outdoors.
• Understand the use and functions of equipment features.
• Operate dozer safely and skillfully.
• Place materials on level surfaces, slopes, and fill areas as needed.
• Learn to read grade stakes.
• Communicate professionally within the team.
• Lead the team based on goals and directions from supervisors.

• Willing to travel out of town or state for work.
• Demonstrate good work ethics: punctuality, hard work, willingness to learn.

Requirements include:

• High character and outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Team player with leadership abilities.
• Attention to work instructions and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of operating rollers, compactors, haul trucks, and excavators.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to work Monday through Friday 7AM-5:30PM, and Saturdays when needed.
