Job Summary
Warehouse Material Handlers are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving and shipping customer orders to ensure they are processed in a timely and secure manner. This position requires minimal forklift operation. Warehouse Material Handlers are given extensive training for success in their position. You will be expected to be fast-paced and attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and able to embrace change.

- Monday-Thursday from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM
- Starting wage is $21.00/hr (which includes a $1.00/hr shift differential) and the potential for up to $0.88 in raises every 6 months
- Check-in and put away incoming warehouse inventory.
- Packing orders to ensure that customers receive orders intact in the shortest possible time while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Downsizing packaging to minimize shipping costs without sacrificing quality or safety.
- Bill and ship completed orders to the customer with provided warehouse software.
- Palletize and load finished shipments onto trailer with provided equipment.
- Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to carry out job duties and ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate with warehouse supervisor any issues or concerns regarding work duties.
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
- Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to 12 hours per day.
- Requires ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Requires regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.
- 1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.
This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.
Desired Traits & Skills- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and order pickers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence.
- Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
