Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator
Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator. If you have familiarity and experience in multiple core warehouse functions, coupled with a commitment to phenomenal customer service, this is the position for you!
Shift Start Options5a-1:30p (M-F; $22.00/hr)
1:30p-10:00p (M-F; $22.00/hr+$1.50/hr)
- Assist in overseeing the day‑to‑day workflow of the department
- Assist in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly department goals
- Assist in resolving day‑to‑day operational issues
- Assist in training and motivating subordinates to improve current performance
- Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement by finding opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, quality, and/or reduce costs while championing related initiatives
- Work with team to ensure department is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
- Other duties as assigned
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and wearing a safety harness with a maximum capacity of 400‑lb.
A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory, is preferred.
- 0‑3 years of experience
- Proven ability to train others
- Fully proficient in multiple core warehouse functions
- Proven understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Product knowledge
- Problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficient
- Strong organization skills and leadership qualities to both give and receive team direction
- $15.00 – $23.79 (hourly)
- Bonus or incentive plan eligible
- Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
