Warehouse Manager, Occupational Health & Safety
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring that product is handled safely and efficiently, and maintaining high productivity on the floor. This role requires an active, visible leader who will spend the majority of their shift walking the floor, monitoring employee performance, coaching team members, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Team Lead will also handle essential administrative duties, including attendance tracking, and must be comfortable managing performance issues up to and including termination.

Key Responsibilities Floor Supervision & Productivity
- Active Floor Management: Spend the majority of the shift walking the warehouse floor to monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and ensure employees are actively engaged in their tasks.
- Performance Monitoring: Ensure workers are meeting productivity goals, performing their jobs correctly, and minimize idle time or unauthorized distractions.
- Resource Allocation: Adjust team assignments throughout the shift based on volume and operational needs.
- Safe Product Handling: Ensure all inventory and products are moved, stored, and handled according to company quality and safety standards to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe operation of equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Incident Reporting: Promptly report and document any safety hazards, near-misses, or property damage.

Coaching:
Onboard new hires and provide continuous, constructive feedback and coaching to existing team members to improve skill sets and efficiency. - Attendance Tracking: Keep accurate daily records of employee attendance, tardiness, and breaks.
- Corrective Action & Terminations: Address behavioral or performance issues directly. When necessary, initiate disciplinary action, up to and including terminating employment and escorting individuals from the premises in accordance with company policy.
