Location: Peachtree City

The Warehouse Manager is principally accountable for overseeing and optimizing warehouse operations by providing effective supervision, guidance, and leadership to all warehouse personnel. Additionally, the role involves formulating strategies that align with the organization’s commercial objectives.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESH&S
  • Ensure all warehouse staff follow Health and Safety procedures.
  • Document and report all accidents/incidents to the appropriate management team, and provide necessary details for review and resolution.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment by adhering to housekeeping and safety procedures.
  • Communicate building maintenance issues or concerns to the facilities department.
Quality
  • Minimize shipping errors and customer complaints due to incorrect parts, quantities or ship-to-locations being shipped
  • Ensure accurate ERP inventory transactions
  • Working closely with Warehouse Associates to ensure inbound and outbound goods meet standards, including inspecting for damage, verifying quantities, and confirming packaging integrity. In addition to lot, serial and expiry details.
  • Ensure all product storage conditions, transportation conditions and handling meets all product stipulations.
  • Support regulatory of team being key onsite contact for temperature monitoring inquires
Material Control
  • Ensure inventory procedures & protocols are adhered to including all security measures
  • Ensure that recorded stock levels match the physical inventory, conducting checks and cycle counts as needed.
  • Implementing countermeasures to eliminate repeat occurrences on any inventory inaccuracies
  • Manage annual physical count process
Output and Efficiency
  • Meet monthly budgeted revenue targets and minimize last day Available-To-Pick (ATP)
  • Oversee Bills of Lading creation for shipments daily, ensuring correct mode of transport is chosen to meet all customer service requirements and customer freight terms
  • Proactively review and implement new innovative ways to maximize flow of goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Review all freight in and out invoices to ensure financial accuracy
  • Review outstanding orders lines regularly working with customer care to ensure to minimize any potential service delays
Scheduling
  • Prioritize both incoming and outgoing product orders and assign tasks accordingly.
  • Ensure order dispatch is effectively performed to maximize output
  • Work with facilities to ensure preventable maintenance associations are signing off on job completion
  • Prepare and manage Warehouse Associates hourly schedule including PTO
Leadership
  • Hire, train and manage the performance of all Warehouse staff.
  • Create a positive work environment, building employee loyalty, and a team atmosphere.
  • Improve operational standards through reviews of employee performance, coaching, counseling and recognition.
  • Measure and track team performance inclusive via daily team huddles to review key metrics.
  • All other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a warehouse and /or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • Experience handling medical device and drug within warehouse and transportation environment in the US
  • Practical knowledge of materials handling equipment including Forklift certification.
  • Working knowledge of GMP.
  • Experience with building a strong team and motivating employees.
  • Knowledge of inventory management processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others.
  • Ability to coordinate a wide variety of duties and responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Must be proficient in written & spoken English.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Extensive experience with various Warehouse Management Systems
  • Proficiency with barcode scanners
  • Extensive knowledge of freight software programs
