AboutThe Role
To check and key all Customer returns into the system.
Purpose of PositionTo check and key all Customer returns into the system.
Essential Job Functions- Receive and inspect returned goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
- Verify return authorization and documentation.
- Work with vendors on any questions or missing return authorizations.
- Record return transactions in inventory or ERP systems.
- Provide the vendor with all necessary details for input into their system.
- Sort and categorize items for restocking, disposal, or repair.
- Communicate with customer service and warehouse teams regarding return issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the returns area.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Generally, 6+ months of relevant work experience preferred, but not required.
- Listens and gets clarification
- Observes safety procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions, uses equipment and materials properly
- Must be accuracy and thorough
- Must have good knowledge of reprocessing work
- Must be able to work efficiently
- Is consistently at work and on time
- Good interpersonal skills
