Warehouse Non-equipment Picker Shift Differentials | It. Pack It. Petco

Petco is hiring Warehouse Workers to join our Distribution Center team.

As a Warehouse Worker on Petco's Picker/Packer team, you'll help keep our stores stocked with the products pets and pet parents count on every day. From dog toys and treats to bird seed and pet essentials, you'll pick and prepare products accurately so they're ready to make their way to Petco stores.

This is a direct-hire position - not a seasonal job. We're looking for people who want the opportunity to stay, grow and build their future with Petco.

You'll spend your shift picking products in our distribution center using technology that helps guide your work.

• Pick and prepare conveyable merchandise accurately for shipment.
• Use RF scanners to scan and track merchandise.
• Use our light-directed picking system, which shows you where to pick and how many items are needed.
• Move and organize merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Keep your work area clean, organized and safe.
• Follow established safety procedures and look out for yourself and the partners working around you.

Safety first, wearing required PPE, and using designated safety cutting tools. This is active, hands-on work. You'll be on your feet and moving throughout your shift, repeatedly picking, bending, reaching, carrying and lifting merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.

The work can be repetitive, and you'll spend your day in a warehouse environment that may be hot, cold, dusty and noisy. Both accuracy and pace matter - you'll need to follow the picking system closely while keeping products moving.

If you like clear expectations, hands-on work and seeing what you've accomplished at the end of your shift, this could be a great fit.

And your pay can grow with you. Under our Step Progression Program, you'll qualify for milestone base pay increases at:

• 2 Months
• 6 Months

• Weekday Nights:
  Earn an extra+$1.25 / hourfor eligible night shifts worked Monday through Thursday.
• Weekend Operations:
  Earn an extra +$2.00 / hour for eligible shifts worked over the weekend.
