Qualifications:
  • National certification or state licensure for Sign Language Interpreting (BEI, EIPA, RID, or state equivalent).
  • Previous interpreting experience in a school setting strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Professional, clear communication and positive interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to different educational environments and student needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately interpret spoken language for students, staff, and families in both classroom and school events.
  • Support instruction through clear, effective communication between teachers and students.
