Job Description Senior Accountant

Location:

Germantown, MD (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week)
Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 base + 10% bonus + equity

About the Opportunity Our client, a growing publicly traded healthcare company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role will have a strong focus on inventory accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is technically strong, collaborative, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage inventory accounting activities, transactions, and reconciliations
* Support month-end and year-end close processes
* Assist with international inventory and fulfillment transactions
* Support consignment inventory accounting and sales order approvals
* Partner on inventory costing and process improvement projects
* Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
* Collaborate cross-functionally to improve accounting processes### Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* 3+ years of accounting experience
* Inventory accounting experience within manufacturing, life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical environments preferred
* Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional firm) highly preferred
* CPA or CPA candidate preferred
* Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills
