Senior Staff Accountant; AP​/Payroll​/GL

We're partnering with a stable, established organization seeking a Senior Staff Accountan
t to join its growing accounting team. This position offers a great opportunity for an accounting professional with strong payroll and accounts payable experience seeking to expand into broader accounting responsibilities. The hiring manager is committed to mentoring the right candidate on additional general ledger and month-end close functions

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, expense reimbursements, and payment processing.
• Prepare payroll reconciliations and assist with payroll-related reporting.
• Support journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Partner with the accounting team on process improvements and special projects.

• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll using a major payroll platform (
  ADP strongly preferred
  ).
• Experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
