State of Maryland is seeking School-Based Literacy Coaches to improve K-3 reading achievement by providing non-evaluative, job-embedded coaching grounded in the Science of Reading and HQIM. Coaches will promote coherent literacy instruction across grades, strengthen Tier I reading, and help teachers internalize state-aligned literacy units and lessons.
Coaching cycles, data-driven decisions, and professional learning will advance Maryland’s PreK-3 policy, Ready to Read Act, and COMAR 13A.03.08.
