Job

DRS RADA Technologies, a subsidiary of Leonardo DRS, focuses on radar and avionics solutions supporting the defense industry worldwide.

• Design and develop test programs to measure functionality and integrity of products and services; write test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluate ability to meet performance standards and specifications.
• Debug test hardware and software.
• Support and participate in technical activities.
• Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems.
• May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments.
• Work independently under supervision of others.
• Provide regular reporting of progress and status.
• Ensure completion of assigned tasks on time and meeting technical requirements.
• Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable.
• Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services.
• Support program design for cost and design-for-manufacture requirements.
• Develop prototypes to retire key development risks as directed.
• Communicate clearly (written and oral) with company personnel and the customer as required.
• May participate in preparation of less complex proposals.
• Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
• Attend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetings.

• Novice technical expertise and application domain knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

Salary range: $75,956/year – $108,617/year. The range reflects the good faith estimate of pay at the time of posting and is influenced by factors such as contract categories, geographic location, responsibilities, qualifications, and other considerations. Eligible employees may receive base pay plus annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable).
