Who will you be working with?
The Manufacturing Test Engineer will work with a cross-functional Engineering team to develop and maintain tools, fixtures, and scripts to automate testing of various Industrial Electronics products at internal and external manufacturing and repair facilities.
How will you make a difference?- Work cross-functionally with local quality, operations, lean, and shop support functions to create strategy, align resources, and drive execution.
- Research, define, design, analyze, and validate production tests for new products.
- Design, develop, and maintain tools, fixtures, and scripts used to automate Board Level and Assembly Level testing.
- Develop production support documentation, including test procedures and test fixture documentation.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant company and industry standards for electronics Verification and Validation.
- Support efforts to drive standardization across manufacturing test platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with minimum 2–3 years of related experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to articulate clearly and concisely.
- Self‑driven, quick learner, good team player, and results‑oriented individual with a clear focus on high quality.
- Software Development experience with C, C++, C#, Bash, Test Stand, Lab View, Python, or other scripting languages used in automating tasks.
- Experience with Linux or Unix‑based real‑time operating systems (QNX, FreeRTOS).
- Electronic circuit knowledge and experience, including use of DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and other related electronic testing equipment.
- Assist with the development of test requirements/specifications, project plans, and other engineering project documentation.
- Design and develop production test scripts, software, and test fixtures to verify production hardware.
- Develop production support documentation, including test procedures and test fixture documentation.
- Review designs of other engineers for completeness, accuracy, cost efficiency, and compliance to specifications.
- Investigate and resolve product failures.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues.
- Train production personnel on new or revised tests.
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $67,400–$96,000. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
