As a Supervisory Interdisciplinary General Engineer/Physical Scientist, you will:
- Executes the research and development of the nuclear fuel supply chain capabilities in order to establish a high-assay low enriched uranium (HALEU) supply chain.
- Oversees the programmatic and technical requirements, planning documents, objectives, functions, and performance measures for Fuel Cycle Technologies.
- Direct the implementation of the Department of Energy's Uranium Strategy and the HALEU Consortium activities.
- Supervise a staff, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Ensures subordinates are following that EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) and Affirmative Action policies.
- Evaluates activities for efficient resource use and integration across various program elements, including approving work scope and resource allocations.
