Business Finance Professional 1 will assist in the execution of the Program's Budget through the creation/maintenance of spend plans, requisitions and supporting documents. This role coordinates financial data with Government officials such as Business Financial Managers, Program Managers, Contract Managers, Contracting Officers, and Contracting Specialists. You will also contribute to maintaining current resources that support day‑to‑day mission activities.

• Assist with the validation/completion of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs).
• Assist Government Business Contract Management Offices with end‑of‑year activities and the completion of the Actual data calls.
• Enter requisitions in NSA's financial management system, providing all necessary information and documentation (PSC#, PAR, SPAT, BER#, Acq Sec#, etc.).
• Prepare non‑complex Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR) and Economy Act Orders (EAO) with associated requisitions.
• Process incoming MIPRs and EAOs using standard BM&A processes to ensure Agency acceptance.
• Create and maintain spend plans in the Agency's financial management system to document Government‑specified requirements.
• Modify requisitions and associated documentation to comply with Contracting guidance and support fund obligations.
• Assist Government Program Managers (GPMs) in tracking requirements through execution, monitoring requisitions through the approval and certification process and to subsequent destinations.
• Pull financial reports/data from Agency systems.
• Utilize established NSA acquisition and financial management policies, procedures, regulations, and tools.

• Four (4) years of DoD/IC, or six (6) years of combined DoD/IC/commercial experience in purchasing or finance.
• Bachelor’s degree with a business focus can substitute for two (2) years of experience, for a total of two (2) years DoD/IC experience or four (4) years of DoD/IC/Commercial experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.

Salary Range: $71,000–$105,000 (general guideline; final offer considers scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions)
