Radiology Technician - Interventional Radiology Technician

Pay From: $45 per hour

• Experienced Radiologic Technologist
• 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• 1+ years of experience in general diagnostic, special procedures or cardiac catheterization
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associates degree in science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by AART
• Basic computer skills
• Experience working in a surgical environment
• Experience working in Interventional Radiology is a plus

• Assist clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation and post-procedure clean-up, operating the C-Arm, scrub-in for procedures, clean and sterilize tools and equipment
• Performs and/or assists in all angiographic and interventional imaging procedures as well as myelography, arthrography and venography
• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies
• Maintain radiology safety-monitoring procedures and may serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the center or Safety Officer
• Utilizes physical assessment skills, monitoring devices (pulse, respiration, blood pressure, EKG), intravenous care and aseptic techniques in providing patient care
• Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and aid in transporting patients within the center
• Participates in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams
• Performs other duties as assigned
