National Therapy Center is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our ABA team in Washington, DC. This full‑time role is ideal for skilled and compassionate professionals ready to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Position OverviewThis is a full‑time role that requires a combination of day and evening shifts. You will be expected to maintain a minimum of 25 billable client hours per week, providing therapy in both home and clinic environments. You must hold an active RBT certification at the time of hire.
What You'll DoAs an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement customized behavior intervention plans that support children in reaching their developmental, communication, and social goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver individualized therapy sessions during both daytime and evening shifts, as scheduled, in home and clinic settings.
Follow behavior protocols as outlined by the supervising BCBA to address skill deficits and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
Accurately complete all clinical documentation, including session notes and data logs, within 24 hours of service.
Record client performance using data collection tools and communicate progress to the supervising BCBA.
Attend regularly scheduled supervision and training sessions to meet BACB standards and stay current with best practices.
Maintain professional communication with families, BCBAs, and team members to support consistent and effective care.
Follow HIPAA guidelines and all organizational policies to ensure the privacy and integrity of client information.
- Active RBT certification listed in the BACB registry at time of hire
- Minimum of one year of experience in ABA therapy or a related behavioral health field
- CPR and First Aid certification (must be current)
- Availability for both daytime and evening shifts (specific schedule will be set during onboarding)
- Reliable transportation to commute to assigned client sites
- Ability to consistently maintain 25 billable hours per week
- $27.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience and availability
- Pay rates apply to both day and evening shifts
