Systems Administrator - Enterprise Storage Overview The Systems Administrator supports enterprise infrastructure with a focus on Net App ONTAP storage and Azure cloud storage environments. This role ensures secure, high-performance, and reliable storage operations across hybrid platforms.
Key Responsibilities Net App Storage Administration
* Manage ONTAP volumes, aggregates, snapshots, replication
* Configure CIFS/NFS shares and quotas
* Perform lifecycle maintenance and firmware upgrades
* Troubleshoot storage issues Azure Cloud Storage
* Administer Blob, File, and Disk storage
* Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
* Monitor performance and cost utilization System Administration
* Support Windows/Linux servers
* Assist with Active Directory and virtualization integration
* Participate in incident response Monitoring & Security
* Monitor health and capacity trends
* Maintain documentation and CMDB records
* Enforce encryption and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
* Hands-on Net App ONTAP experience
* Azure storage administration
* Knowledge of NFS/SMB/iSCSI protocols
* Windows/Linux administration
* Virtualization familiarity Preferred Skills
* Net App certifications
* Azure certifications
* Backup/DR platforms
* Automation scripting
